Ross and Sheryll Watkins Ross & Sheryll Watkins are Kiwi locals and the directors of Family Ministries New Zealand. They have four married adult children, and grandchildren being added. They became involved in YWAM when they attended a Family Camp, followed by a Family DTS in 1992, some Kings Kids outreaches, the FM School and leadership. They love working with families, and have a passion to see families go on for God, to be restored, changed, and matured, and go on to serve God.
Malcolm & Rosalie Heath Malcolm & Rosalie Heath did their Crossroads DTS here in 1993 and were then Crossroads DTS staff for several years before going to Canada with YWAM Associates for four years. They are now here at Crystal Springs serving on staff where Rosalie oversees the kitchen serving delicious healthy meals and Malcolm is the Registrar and office manager. They are Kiwis and love serving in YWAM.
Sam  & Tina Hofmann Sam and Tina Hofmann with their children, Jemima, Jeshurun, Johanna, Keziah and Joel have been in India since 1988, working with YWAM there.
With other staff they have pioneered many ministries in North India, with churches, children-homes and training centers etc.
Both feel the leading of God to join in YWAM - Matamata in the area of training and church - ministry to help building strong families for the Kingdom.
Udvardi Family Dusan & Dagma Udvardi are from Slovakia. They did their DTS here in 2004 and stayed on for the FMS in 2005. They are now returning to be on staff for at least the next 3 years. They have been married for 14 years and have two children, Agata & Oliver. They have been working with YWAM Slovakia for 10 years and, since the FMS, have been ministering to families in different areas (pre-marital preparation, marriage course, family camps) in Slovakia. They have now returned to Matamata in August 2008 to be on staff at least for 2½ýyears.
Sandgren Family Andraes & Sara Sandgren We are the Sandgren family from Sweden: Sara, Andraes, Jonatan 12, Lukas 9, Philip 5, and Julia 1 year old. We have been married for almost 13 years. Four years ago we did the FMS here at Crystal Springs and we are very happy to be back. In Sweden Sara works as a doctor (child and adolescent psychiatry) and Andraes as a system developer. Our desire is to be an active part in Gods Kingdom, helping building strong families.
Paula Hi my name is Paula Oliver. I'm 18 and I am a Kiwi. I lived with my parents in a little town called Tirau before I came to Crystal Springs. This school will be my third school that I have served as staff on this base. I was working in the Crèche for the last two schools and I am now working in the Reception and also as the Personal Assistant to the Family Ministries directors. I also help in the Crèche when needed.


bianca Hello my name is Bianca Bauer! I am 20 and I am from Southern Germany near Stuttgart. I have done a DTS here with Pursuits last year and after I had seen all the work that the Family Ministries are doing, I decided to stay a while and look after the children. I have been working with kids in my church at home as well in my spare time. I like German Chocolate and hanging out with people. I am sure we will have a great time together and I am really looking forward to that.
Claire Hiya, my name is Claire Simpson. I come from near Edinburgh, Scotland. I am a keen golfer and fisher-woman. I play the guitar and love worship. I did my Family DTS here in Ò08 which was just the best experience of my life. I am a qualified nurse but have felt GodÒs call into missions and have been wonderfully retained by God here in NZ. I just love to hear testimonies of God in action in peopleÒs lives and I look forward to seeing His love demonstrated in your lives as He continues to work in me. God bless you.
Merrilyn Hello my name is Merrilyn Hofmann. This is my first experience with YWAM. I live in Canada but, I was born in Australia. I have four grown children and 2 grandchildren. I am excited to give of myself and receive all that God has planned for me here at Crystal Springs.


Sharon Wright My name is Sharon Wright. I was born in Waihi, New Zealand, and raised there till I left school. I've been raised in a Christian family. I committed my life when I was young, 3 or 4 years old. I made a recommitment when I was 16 and another at the age of 22. When I left school I worked in various different places. After a while I spent 3 years at Faith Bible College and ended up doing my practical here at the YWAM base. I have now come back to help look after the children

Associate Staff
Kevin & Pat Stringer Kevin & Pat Stringer are Kiwis with three grown children. They took the DTS for families back in 2000 and the Family ministry School in 2001 before joining to staff these two schools. They find it a joy and privilege to be a part of seeing God change, restore, equip and bring His love so much deeper to many hearts. Kevin is the Family Ministries Accountant and they are both on the Family Ministries Trust.


Ron & Heather Wallace-Wells Ron and Heather Wallace-Wells We were 2 truly beautiful descendants of Adam and Eve, created by a magnificent Father.....But wear and tear has changed the original product!!!! We live in Matamata.....together, in the same house and bed. Crystal Springs and YWAM have been a part of our lives since the mid 90's. We did a DTS in 1998. We were sheep and cattle farmers until 1996...We gave up when we could no longer run faster than the animals!!!! We are on Staff of the 2008 Family DTS.
Other roles: need sheets, towels, blankets, pillows etc. or a button sewn on.....see Heather Need firewood, logs milled, calves reared, an extra hand in the kitchen, or a great fatherly hug....see Ron

Cecil & Denise Lowe Cecil & Denise Lowe are former Directors of Family Ministries New Zealand. They have been involved with Family Ministries for 15 years now. Cecil and Denise have spent time mentoring leaders of the first FMS in Switzerland and then the Philippines. Cecil also lectures and ministers in the schools on relationships, parenting, marriage and family systems. They have the gift of hospitality and mentoring others. Cecil and Denise are Kiwis and have 3 adult children and a son in law.
Bruce & Barbara Thompson Bruce and Barbara Thompson Dr. Bruce Thompson is a New Zealand born physician who developed the College of Counseling and Health Care in YWAMÒs University of the Nations. His service in West Africa and the Worldwide Evangelism Crusade as a medical missionary planted seeds that eventually blossomed into the YWAM counseling clinics and ministry spanning the globe. His wife, Barbara, has worked at his side as a nurse and counselor. They have two sons, travel throughout the world to minister and teach and have written several books.


Wellington Branch
Frank & Rosemary  Eijgenraam Frank & Rosemary Eijgenraam represent YWAM Family Ministries in Wellington, the capital of New Zealand. They are a ministry arm of YWAM Family Ministries in Matamata, hosting teams of DTS FM or FMS students. They have a calling to be "hands of healing"in their community with many Maori, Polynesian and European families. They partner with local churches in providing parenting seminars and in the future teaching on marriage and counseling as well. Frank is also secretary of a city wide interdenominational movement called "Hutt Impact" with a 10 year plus evangelism strategy to reach the Hutt Valley with the message of Jesus Christ. Their children are Shannon, Bethany and Jeremy
